The rumours are true dolls, I know because I started them.

I’m pregnant… again!

I can’t believe it either, honestly I thought it was mid-forties-menopause, I was tired, I was grouchy …and then one day my legs swelled up something silly and Daz said, “Babe that could be a heart attack, you should get it checked out.” and went back to making his toastie.

Meanwhile I did a quick consult with Dr Google… and found it could be kidneys, heart or… pregnancy.

Now… it’s been a while… a while since I was last pregnant but an even longer while since Daz promised to get a vasectomy…

And I’d rather do a quick whizz than get a thousand blood tests… and it turns out it’s a beautiful, baby boy due later this year.

Darren and I decided, this kid must have really gone through a gauntlet to exist, and so we are very happy to announce…

The last thing you were probably expecting…

We are expecting!

The baby has great scheduling (thanks to his father probably) so…

I’ll still be hosting for Telethon7, proudly waving to you in PRIDE season and will be touring again next year… but I have had to slow down more than I’d like the past few months.

But being pregnant in your 40s is a world of difference to being pregnant in your 20s.

So I am taking a few more breaks than usual this year… and after the baby arrives in September.
